| | | | | How can we obtain maximum velocity when pitching? Creating torque has always been the answer. When leading with the front hip while keeping our head over the back leg will put us in the best position to create as much torque as possible at the finish of our throw. This will allow the pitcher to explode with linear, and horizontal motion with the legs and core, causing the arm to work as a whip. The torque will help the pitchers arm accelerate through the throw helping reach maximum velocity. How can we obtain maximum velocity when pitching? Creating torque has always been the answer.
